Cultiv8 Startup Program
A virtual 8-week entrepreneurship and innovation program for high school and college students from diverse cultural backgrounds. The program empowers youth to identify real-world challenges in their communities, design culturally-informed, impactful solutions, and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges from the startup, VC, and social innovation world.
Culture & Psychology Conference @ Toronto
The Culture & Psychology Conference aims to empower youth, People of Colour, 1st & 2nd gen immigrants, & women by linking psychology with to identity and adaption. We will explore how culture influences mental health, belonging and resilience, as well as raise awareness and educate attendees on core psychology concepts. High school students, university students, and all youth welcomed!
Beginner English Virtual Course
The Language Program is a month long program hosted by Bridge of Culture, a non-profit organization dedicated to enrich cross-cultural understanding among youth. It aims to educate attendees on the English language and improve their lives through better proficiency. This program is aimed towards 1st-generation immigrants who require assistance with the language and those who are interested in the language in general. In this program, attendees will expand their vocabulary and enhance their comprehension, as well as learn and improve their communication skills through both formal and informal conversations and interactive group sessions.
Coffee Chats with BOC x Let’s Talk WOC @ Vancouver | Aug 26, 2025
Join us for a coffee chat dedicated for women of color to share, reflect, and connect around our lived experiences with code-switching, assimilation, and identity. Together, we’ll share stories, reflect on moments of pride and discomfort, and discuss how we can celebrate our ethnicity and cultural identity without shrinking or filtering ourselves. Expect the following:
- Enjoy free beverages and snacks
- Roundtable discussion on prompts relating to the topic
- Reflection sheets and open discussion
- Free space to safely share your experiences and knowledge with likeminded women of colour!

Diversity in Law Conference @ UBC
A one-day event designed to inspire youth from diverse backgrounds to explore careers in law, we invited over 70 attendees, 5 collaborators and sponsors to the Robert H. Lee Alumni Center at the University of British Columbia (UBC) This conference highlighted the underrepresentation of ethnic minorities in BC’s legal profession and offer opportunities to connect with professionals who are making a difference. Attendees will hear from guest speakers, including Indigenous, African-Canadian, and Chinese lawyers, and participate in a hands-on case study workshop.


Global youth networking program
Hosted on November 15th, Bridge of Culture organized a Zoom event that attracted over 40 attendees. The event offered an opportunity to learn about the ups and downs of being an international student, as speakers shared how they adapted to diverse cultures and emphasized the importance of cross-cultural understanding in personal growth. Attendees also discovered various NGOs, how to get involved with these organizations, and learned about scholarship opportunities for studying abroad.
